We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from La Tour FIDES! After receiving many creative submissions, we have officially selected the top 3 finalists for our art contest, held in collaboration with Concordia University’s Faculty of Arts.
The contest challenges artists to design a unique statue, and only the winning piece will be installed in the lobby of La Tour FIDES, transforming this space into a place of inspiration and creativity for residents and visitors.
Each finalist will receive $5,000 to further develop their proposal. As part of the next phase, they will:
- Create a 3D rendering of their artwork
- Provide to-scale material samples
- Produce a physical maquette to bring their vision to life
We are excited to see the ingenuity, creativity, and dedication these artists will bring to the project. Their ideas will soon evolve into tangible works that will be evaluated by the jury to determine the grand winner.
Stay tuned to follow the journey of these talented finalists and discover soon the grand winner—the artist whose work will become the permanent centerpiece of La Tour FIDES.
This contest is a celebration of art, community, and innovation, and we are honored to collaborate with Concordia University to showcase the exceptional talent of Montreal’s emerging artists.
